Not Another Anxiety Show

A podcast for all: from the always anxious to the occasionally overwhelmed to the painfully panicked. Join your host Kelli Walker – registered nurse, Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and former agoraphobe – on an anxiety adventure. Learn what anxiety really is, why the best of us can get caught in its web, and how to move past its sticky grip. Casual conversations with Kelli and other experts will include more than reciting daily affirmations or following "five simple steps" to overcome anxiety. Instead, you'll get practical tips, resources, and guidance while gaining a down-to-earth and deeper understanding of what it means to be human – an easily overlooked part of truly moving past anxiety. No experience in deep breathing, chakra alignment, or pescetarianism required. Listen in for a good laugh and start feeling a little more human today. If you have a question you'd like answered on the show or simply want to learn more, visit: www.notanotheranxietyshow.com.

Join Erica and Kelli as they do a new mindset exercise - and how it relates to our favorite Anxiety Tinted Glasses!  Kelli reminds us what it means to be myopic with anxiety and the negativity bias.  Try this one yourself and see if it helps you gain altitude on your viewpoint!

Join Kelli and Erica as they review what happens during the fight/flight/freeze response, and learn what the Navy Seals do to help themselves during a particularly sticky situation.  Also tune in to determine whether Kelli could be a Mr. T impersonator if things get rough.

During this wild time in history, let's re-listen to some of the amazing guests we've had discussing the things that feel particularly sticky for us right now!

Join Kelli and guest Kate Manser to talk about death. Yes, we know this is a sensitive subject for just about everyone (not just those of us in the midst of anxiety), but we approach the topic from a slightly different angle that hopefully makes death a little less terrifying. Spoiler alert: Kelli and Kate share their experiences with a once crippling fear of death, and both were able to make it through the conversation without throwing up! So, tune in for a not-so-bad chat about death.
